Hand built pottery as functional art.

I admit it: I love bowls the best. They are the ultimately useful dish - you can eat or drink from them, carry your belongings in them, feed your friends and family from them. Whether small enough to cradle in the palm of my hand, or large enough to serve the crowd chicken soup, I delight in their shape and their emptiness filled with so much potential - or spaghetti and meatballs, or only shades of red buttons or birds' nests.

If I had a dollar for everytime someone asked me "what are tea bowls?" I wouldn't be selling pottery online. So, to clear up any misconceptions: Tea Bowls are for: tea lights, tea bags, drinking tea, thumb tacks, change, pills, earrings, rings, soap, massage oil, hair clips, paper clips, spices, salt, dipping sauces, party favors, nuts, candy, (very) small amounts of ice cream or pudding . . . in short, the perfect bowl. Whether you buy two or two dozen you will wonder just how you ever got along without them.

Imprinted with floral designs or geometrics in red, green, blue, yellow, teal, black and natural.
Sold only in pairs. Tea Bowls: 2/$10.00
