V A S E S & P L A N T E R S

I am so excited about these new vases. First of all, I have found a new way to fashion the feet from the body of clay that makes of the rest of the vase. And then, of course there is the color. Now that I am firing my pottery in my own, very small, but wonderul Olympic kiln, I am using colored slips and clear glaze instead of several different colored glazes. I like slips, They are opague and what you paint on your greenware is pretty much what you get. And the vibrancy of the colors is just wonderful!

A whimsical blue and green, this planter/vase holds a 7" potted plant or a generously sized bouquet. Three wedged feet hold it steadily above the fray - or your dining room table. Blue and Green Square /Flowered Planter: $80.00

Multiple hues of blue wrapped around this tall slender vase are just waiting for your lilacs or iris, or the perfect branch from your grandmother's vintage forsythia, forced to believe (in March) that it is May. Three footed for symmetrical balance and beauty.
Blue Vine Wrapped Vase: $40

I bought a plastic mat to use in my old cast iron and enamel kitchen sink. I used it one day, and off it went to the studio to make uniformly sized and spaced squares on my slabs of clay.
I love this vase; pieced together with geometric patterns and textures, the colors are just a bit more subtle. It is the perfect size and shape to showcase your roses.

Yellow With Green Squares Vase: $60

The green flowered patterns and rolled arms of this retangular vase will complement every blossom that finds its way there. And, is that a fairy door?

Hanging Vases & Wall Sconces

I have a cat who just loves greenery of any kind, and after one too many of my vases crashed to the floor, I decided to take matters in hand and fashioned wall sconces and hanging vases. Now my flowers and pottery vases are safe from felines and toddlers a like, and everyone is happy. From the smallest to the largest, every one is just as beautiful displayed empty as it is filled with your favorite flowers. Dishwasher safe, but please be kind and hand wash.
